Sneh Gram Vikas Sanstha runs a primary residential school for VJNT/SC/ST children with the support of the Other backward Bahujan Welfare Department, Government Of Maharashtra,shingoli tq/dist – Dharashiv, Pin- 413501. The school caters to 230 children from VJNT/SC/ST communities, with 131 boys and 99 girls in grades 1 to 4. It is managed by a Headmaster, six teachers, a superintendent, and additional non-teaching staff. The school provides comprehensive facilities including boarding, regular medical check-ups and treatment, clothing, and stationery to ensure the well-being and education of its students.
Vidyaniketan Madhyamik Ashram Shala, Shingoli, Tq. & Dist. Dharashiv
Vidyaniketan Madhyamik Ashram Shala in Shingoli, Ba, is a secondary residential school supported by the Other Backward Bahujan Welfare Department, Government Of Maharashtra,shingoli tq/dist – Dharashiv, Pin- 413501. It serves 529 students from VJNT, SC, and NT communities, including 318 boys and 211 girls in grades 5 to 10. The school is led by a Headmaster and 18 teachers, with a superintendent and additional hostel staff managing the residential facilities. Students receive boarding, regular medical check-ups and treatment, clothing, and stationery.
Women Self-employment Training
Under the Women Self-Employment Training program, women, including those in self-help groups (SHGs), receive comprehensive training to enhance their self-employment skills and knowledge of various government schemes designed to benefit women. Our training covers essential topics such as SHG management, record keeping, and internal loans. Our initiative aims to improve the economic status of women, which in turn enhances their social standing.
Child Health Checkup Camp
We organize a camp for general health checkups and guide healthy children in the rural area. Our medical professionals will conduct physical examinations, provide nutritional advice, and offer vaccinations to ensure all children’s well-being. Furthermore, we will be educating parents on the importance of regular checkups and healthy habits for their children. This camp aims to promote overall wellness and prevent any potential health issues in the future.
Awareness of watershed development
We help farmers understand the importance of watershed development. Agriculture experts advise on soil and water conservation methods, such as building earthen and cement nala bunds, loose boulder structures, and continuous contour trenches. Farmers are encouraged to use these techniques and participate in government projects focused on watersheds and agricultural development.
Awareness of Socio-economic agriculture development & Rural Sanitation
Sneh Gram Vikas Sanstha runs programs to improve socio-economic conditions, agriculture, and rural sanitation. Experts are invited to offer guidance on rural sanitation, agricultural development, and environmental conservation. Village volunteers help organize these activities locally. We also provide information about government schemes to benefit rural people and farmers. Moreover, we conduct awareness camps and programs on youth development and addiction.
Child Labour Awareness Camp
Sneh Gram Vikas Sanstha, Devtala Tq.Ausa Dist. Latur executed a survey on child labor problems. Our organization has opened a pre-technical school for the children at Shingoli Dist..22 child laborers are pursuing learning with earning in school crafts, such as color painting. The camp aimed to educate the community about eradicating child labor and providing education opportunities. By offering vocational training, we hope to empower these children with skills that will help them secure a better future.
Environment & Forest Awareness Camp
The environment plays a crucial role in the life of human beings. So it is necessary to promote plantations, conserve natural resources, and educate people about the importance of protecting our environment for future generations. Through our awareness camps, we can instill a sense of responsibility and encourage sustainable practices that will help preserve our planet for years to come. Together, we can work towards creating a more sustainable and eco-friendly future for all.
Revitalizing Community Through Cultural Events
Sneh Gram Vikas Sanstha.Devtala actively promotes cultural activities to enrich community life. Local festivals, traditional art performances, and craft workshops are organized to foster cultural heritage and strengthen social bonds. These events offer a platform for showcasing regional talent, preserving traditions, and encouraging community participation. Through these vibrant activities, Sneh Gram Vikas Sanstha nurtures a sense of unity and pride, enhancing the cultural fabric of the community.
Youth Leadership and Personality Development Camp
To promote development and raise awareness, the society organized a Youth Leadership and Personality Development Camp in Devtala, Tq. Ausa, Dist. Latur. The event saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of young men and women. Leading personalities were invited to offer guidance on crucial aspects of youth leadership and personality growth. They encouraged participants to embrace life’s challenges, strive for personal success, and contribute positively as future leaders and responsible citizens of India. The camp received a very positive response.
